Allan Morris is a traditional yet forward-thinking independent estate agency group, with a network of regional offices selling a wide variety of property in the towns, villages and countryside across the rural counties to the south and west of the West Midlands conurbation, including Worcestershire, the South Shropshire borders and now South Staffordshire.
Our Wombourne office is situated in the centre of the village and is led by our director David Jones, who has over 30 years experience in the property business. David’s career began in 1991 when he sold his first ever property - which was actually in Wombourne!
We pride ourselves on providing a quality service and achieving the best results with a friendly, professional and dedicated approach. You will find us approachable, easy to talk to, pleasant to deal with and more than happy to have a chat at any time.
We take what we do very seriously, but we always aim to provide service with a smile!
Wombourne is a village located 5 miles south of Wolverhampton within the boundaries of leafy South Staffordshire, and is home to over 15,000 residents making it one of the largest villages in England.
The village has four Primary Schools (Westfield, St Bernadette's RC, Blakeley Heath and St Benedict Biscop) as well as Wombourne High School.
The village has a good range of shops, cafes and other independent businesses mostly centred around the picturesque village green. The green is also home to Wombourne Cricket, Tennis and Bowling Club, remaining a key focal point of the village, especially on a sunny day.
Wombourne is fortunate to have a well equipped leisure centre as well as many local clubs, interest groups and societies.
The village is surrounded by delightful open countryside, with the green and pleasant nature of the village evident through lots of pretty walkways and footpaths including the Wombrook Walk which stretches for 1.5 miles along both side of the Wom Brook local nature reserve, containing a mixture of meadow and woodland.
The Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal runs through the village and provides a delightful natural amenity popular with anglers, ramblers and the boating community, with the historic Bratch Locks dating from 1772 including the toll house and lock keeper’s cottage. Roughly parallel with the canal tow path is the South Staffordshire Railway Walk, intersecting with the Wom Brook Walk and featuring the former Wombourne Railway Station which now houses The Railway Cafe, with car parking facilities.
